Uyuni
This picture was taken for me , in the Uyuni salt flat in Bolivia, on a summer break of 2008, when I went to travel around south America with 3 friends. That was an amazing travel and life experience. In this Place , you can´t tell where the sky and ground are and it´s like a big mirror, this is the biggest salt flat of the world. have araound 72 km of length and is a beautiful landscape
I could see and visit a lot of cool places and knew nice people from Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Brasil.......I even I made good new friends, and later on I went to their countries and houses.
On this travel I visited some archaeological sites , like Nazca lines, a some Inca´s forts, it was incredible. I also visited a plate mine in Potosi called Cerro Rico and observed the hard life of kids miners. Too I visited the Guayasamin house´s, lot of nice beaches, went to the jungle and share with a Shaman and took ayaguasca, I jumped from a bridge and I trie many typical food of eachcountries.
In the picture, appears me and my 3 friends , Miguel, Polo, and Piri (in left to right order). Piri is my classmate and his friend Miguel are both from Ecuador, and Polo was my classmate in high school. The convivence was fine, without big fights or something like that.
I like this picture because , the place , the Uyuni salt flat is like "Imagine" song form J. Lennon in its lyrics say.....
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today ...

Synthetic Cell
The last week, a group of scientists make for first time in history a cell which are controllated by a complete synthetic genoma, this genoma was design, synthesis and assembly in J. Craig Venter laboratory's , this group was the same in decrypts the genome code, and now they create a whole new genoma with 1.08 Mpb (1.08 million of pair bases), this genoma give to the new cells a defined phenotypic and are capable of continuous self-duplication.
This genoma was created using a chemical synthesis of four nucleotides of DNA sequences and then this pieces was assembly to created a new code to be transplanted to a cell recipient, who was complete controlled by this DNA.
The potential of this technology is huge, because now we can design a cell which we need , and the cell type that fail in some disease, like a neuron, a hepatocyte, muscle or any other that we want.

in the name of the Father
I believe in the human nature but , we are animals and we must have some animals behavior too,
so i think that kind of doctrine from the religions (catholic religion), where the sex is forbidden, have a anti-nature behavior, and the people like priest, are in constant fight with him instincts, and someones, in one point, they make a twist on his ethic and moral values, so psychologically they become a perverse people, who never have the chance for their subconscious development and be a complete mental healthy human being. the case of pederast priest, is a old well know history, this kind of people were present always in past time, but now the power of the catholic religion is not the same of a few years ago, and that is the reason because we hear a lots of news of violated children by priests, now the victim family have the courage and reported the abuse.

Earthquakes
On febrary 27 i was awake, watching tv in bed and had arrived recently from Uruguay. when i and my friends were in Urugay every time we knew a new person from other country (not chile), we talk about of earthquakes in chile and the curios was that i always said to them "i believe that a earthquake is coming soon, becouse a lot of time has past from the last one, and the people from chile are worried", so after all tragedy , they did send me mails to ask me if i and my friends were fine. At night of the terror , i was watching the Titanic movie and when the boat it starts to sink, everything was starts to shaking, so when i note that was not the FX of the movie, i went to wake up to my mother, so we just waited under the door frame, i will never gonna forget all i saw that night, all the houses jumping, the cars, the lightning flash on sky from the electric wired and the panic of the people that followed the next days was realy impressive and disturbing
